The Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta may not have hit the PlayStation Network, but a similar game is certainly making its way to the PSN on Thursday. Capcom has announced that they are releasing Street Fighter Alpha for the PlayStation Network on August 14.

LucasArts has been quick to squash rumors that say the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo will hit PSN and Xbox Live this Thursday. Adam Kahn, Senior PR Manager for LucasArts, has said in no uncertain terms that no, the demo will not be coming out this week. More in the full article.

Gamers in Europe are still rather in the dark when exactly Capcom's Bionic Commando Rearmed will be hitting the local download services. Activision is set to release a new track pack for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of  Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. Naughty Dog's  Richard Lemarchand has been interviewed and he was asked what he thought about the PlayStation Network when stacked against Microsoft's Xbox Live.
